About

On boundaries is a joint effort between reivers and gesta. It is our first attempt, hence the simplicity of the site. The first post gives some context to what we are trying to achieve.

The point is to explore the border between the scientific (reivers) and humanistic (gesta) approach to research and life. Is there a genuine dividing line?

I would have sent you an email but I didn’t see one listed on the site, so I just thought I would post here.

I came across your site through the “A Corner of Tenth-Century Europe” blog. I noticed we share similar interests in the medieval period, and we read similar blogs.

I’m just now trying to fill out my own blogroll — I’ve been slow to add other resource links to my website — and the category of “medieval resources” definitely needs some links added to it, so I was wondering if you would be interested in trading links: I’ll add your site to my blogroll and vice versa. Let me know if you’re interested.

Best wishes,

Steven

Hello, thanks for your comment. I don’t think we have an email address listed anywhere as we like to keep our blogging identities separate from our real ones!

As for medieval links, I tend to use Jonathan’s excellent blog role on ‘A Corner of Tenth-Century Europe’ to navigate around. In terms of resources, a good place to start is the Internet Medieval Source book
http://www.fordham.edu/halsall/Sbook.html . Have a look at Medieval Studies Online at Leeds http://www.leeds.ac.uk/ims/med_online/medresource.html which has links to lots of places.

Sorry for being tardy in replying.
